A sad situation

I went out to enjoy the nice day today (2-17-13) and decided to go to lake McClellan which is situated about 50 miles east of Amarillo. What used to be a very prominent lake in the TX Panhandle has all but dried up. This photo unfortunately tells the story about the massive drought that's had a grip on this region for the past few years. Click on photo for larger view.
